Square Enix has announced Hitman GO, a mobile game based on their popular Hitman series. Developed by Square Enix Montréal, Hitman GO is a turned-based strategy game in which you navigate Agent 47 on a grid, trying to avoid enemies as you make your way to your targets. You will need to think about every move, as well as what tools you will use, according to a post on the Hitman blog:
Hitman GO is a turn-based strategy game with beautifully rendered diorama-style set pieces. You will strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate well-guarded locations. You really have to think about each move and all the Hitman tools of the trade you would expect are included; disguises, distractions, sniper rifles and even 47’s iconic Silverballers.
While no release date was given, Square did say that Hitman GO is almost ready to launch, so an announcment shouldn’t be too far off. Do you want to play a Hitman game on your iOS device?
